Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for women in midlife and beyond who feel they are standing at a crossroads. It’s for women who have lived full lives — carrying careers, families, responsibility, love, and loss — and who now feel an inner shift calling them to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
You don’t need to be “broken” or in crisis. You simply need to feel the nudge that something is changing.
Who is this retreat not for?
This retreat may not be the right fit if you’re looking for a fast-paced, high-energy personal development experience, or if you’re not ready to slow down and reflect honestly. This is not about fixing, hustling, or reinventing yourself overnight — it’s about deep, respectful inner work.
Do I need to be going through a major life crisis to attend?
No. Many women attend because something feels quietly unsettled rather than dramatic. Others are navigating loss, illness, role changes, empty nest, career shifts, or ageing. Both are welcome. The retreat honours the full spectrum of experience.
Is this retreat therapy or group counselling?
No. While the retreat is deeply reflective and emotionally supportive, it is not therapy or clinical treatment. You will never be required to share more than you feel comfortable with. The work is facilitated with care, boundaries, and respect, focusing on insight, reflection, and personal integration.
Will I have to share my personal story in front of the group?
Sharing is always optional. Some women find great value in speaking; others prefer to listen, write, or process privately. There is no pressure to disclose anything you’re not ready to share. Your experience is honoured at your pace.
What can I expect emotionally?
Many women describe the retreat as both gentle and powerful. You may experience moments of insight, relief, grief, laughter, clarity, or deep rest. Everything that arises is welcomed. This is a space designed for emotional safety, not overwhelm.
What does a typical day look like?
Each day includes guided sessions, reflective practices, group conversations, and space for rest and integration. There is a balance between structured facilitation and personal time. This is not a packed schedule — spaciousness is intentional.
Is there time for rest and solitude?
Yes. Rest is not an afterthought — it is part of the work. There will be opportunities to rest, reflect, walk, journal, or simply be still. You are encouraged to honour your energy and take what you need.
What should I bring?
You’ll receive a full preparation guide prior to the retreat. In general, comfortable clothing, a journal, and an open heart are all that’s required. There’s no need to bring work, plans, or expectations.
What if I feel nervous or unsure about attending?
That’s completely normal — and often a sign that something meaningful is calling you. Many women arrive feeling unsure and leave feeling grounded, supported, and clearer than they’ve felt in years. You don’t need certainty to attend. You just need willingness.
How many women will be attending?
This is an intimate retreat with limited places to ensure depth, connection, and individual care. Exact numbers will be shared prior to booking. This program is also available one-on-one. It can be done Online via Zoom, in your own private home, or at a special Airbnb of your choice.
What happens after the retreat ends?
You’ll leave with insight, language, and a deeper connection to yourself — not a list of things to “do.” Many women describe the retreat as a turning point that continues to unfold long after they return home. Optional post-retreat support or resources may also be offered.
Where is the retreat held?
The retreat takes place in a carefully selected residential location designed to support rest, privacy, and reflection. Full venue details are provided once your place is confirmed.
Is this retreat suitable if I have physical limitations or health considerations?
Yes. The retreat is designed to be accessible and respectful of varying energy levels and physical needs. Please let us know any requirements in advance so we can support you comfortably.
How do I know if now is the right time?
If you’ve read this far and felt a quiet recognition — that sense of “this feels like it’s speaking to me” — that’s often your answer. You don’t need to have everything figured out. This retreat is about meeting yourself exactly where you are.
